Hi everyone! My name is Conor Hayes. I am a PhD student at the National University of Ireland Galway under the Hardiman Scholarship. My research focuses on multi-objective reinforcement learning. I am supervised by Dr. Enda Howley and Dr. Patrick Mannion from the National University of Ireland Galway. I am also supervised by Dr. Diederik M. Roijers of HU University of Applied Science Utrecht and Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
I am part of the Complex Systems Research Group at the National University of Ireland Galway.
I was a member of the organising comittee for the Adaptive Learning Agents Workshop (https://ala2021.vub.ac.be/) which ran at AAMAS 2021 in London, UK.
I am also on the organising comittee for the first Multi-Objective Decision Making Workshop (https://modem2021.cs.nuigalway.ie/) which will run online from the 14th – 16th of July 2021.
I completed my master’s degree in 2019 at the National University of Ireland Galway, where I focused on applying multi-objective reinforcement learning to energy systems to reduce carbon emissions. I previously worked as a software engineer consulting for Biotech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.
